In 2014, I attended my first Burning Man Festival. The creativity and magic on display there changed my life in so many ways. Since then, I've sought to help create more magical containers for my friends and community at large to experience similar magic. Below are examples of structures and other elements I helped design and build with my friends. I've been able to use the skills I've developed as an artist and designer to make these concepts come to life
From high-concept design and engineering to steel fabrication, woodwork, electronics, and fabric work, I've learned so much while bringing these experiences to life!

The PRISM
The PRISM came to life after our good friends Ted and Cori asked us to build them a custom wedding venue. Using the table from our Welcome Home project at Burning Man 2019 as a centerpiece, we built a series of go-go towers around the table structure and connected them with custom LED-infused fabric shade sails with an interactive light controller for guests to put on their own dazzling light show. Complete with a cozy (yet death-defying) view from the table above, the PRISM is one of the most unique dancefloors you'll ever experience!
Canna Sanctum
Canna Sanctum (Latin for canyon sanctuary) was a space created as a peaceful oasis to find respite in the desert heat. With billowing shade sails meant to emulate Utah's famous slot canyons, festival-goers will find many cozy nooks and crannies to relax and enjoy the view. An idea that I first doodled on a napkin, this space has become an epic sprawling space for relaxing, yoga, and a host of other workshops at festivals.
Other Shenanigans
In my humble early years of attending Burning Man, I had so much fun creating random things like a sign for our camp, or a 40-foot  kinetic bike wheel fence to help make our camp experience a little more interesting. (we are bike mechanics for the record)
