As the design Architect on this massive terminal renovation project, MSA had a tall order to reinvent one of the most visited airports in the country, in a state with a rich history of aviation. In addition to creating a unified wayfinding system, we were tasked with creating unique and engaging content throughout the space. This included a 30-foot abstract terrazzo map inlay, a mosaic window installation, and multiple historical exhibitions showcasing the history of aviation in Ohio.
I developed most of conceptual directions for these spaces, and helped build the artwork and fabrication specs for various elements.
